TraderPoint Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

Acceptance Of This Agreement
By creating an account and/or subscribing to traderpoint.cz (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
Platform Purpose
TraderPoint is an online matchmaking and showcase platform. Tradesmen may create profiles to promote their services, and users may view these profiles. TraderPoint does not provide, perform, guarantee, or supervise any work arising from connections made through the Platform.
Subscriptions and Payments
Tradesmen may access the Platform by paying a subscription fee. This fee is the only financial transaction facilitated by TraderPoint. TraderPoint is not involved in any contracts, payments, or agreements between tradesmen and clients.
Use of the Platform
You agree to: - Use the Platform lawfully - Provide accurate information - Avoid posting content that infringes intellectual property or third-party rights - Not interfere with or disrupt the Platform TraderPoint reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
Intellectual Property
All materials on the Platform, including software, text, graphics, logos, and content, are owned by TraderPoint or its licensors. You may only use such materials to access and use the Platform as intended. Any other use requires prior written consent.
Limitation Of Liability
The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." TraderPoint does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, TraderPoint shall not be liable for loss of data or access, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use. Nothing in these Terms limits TraderPoint's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify TraderPoint from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Platform, including any content you upload.
Changes to Terms
TraderPoint may amend these Terms at any time. Material changes affecting subscriptions or user rights will be communicated with at least 14 days’ notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Privacy and Data Collection
This section explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use our Platform.
Data Collected
We may collect: - Identification and contact information (name, email, phone) - Account credentials and preferences - Profile information for tradesmen (trade type, skills, experience, qualifications, public description) - Subscription and billing information - Technical data (IP address, device, logs)
Purpose and Legal Basis
We process your data to: - Create and manage your account (performance of contract) - Operate and improve the Platform (legitimate interest) - Process subscription payments (performance of contract) - Communicate updates and promotions (consent or legitimate interest) - Comply with legal obligations
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share it with: - Service providers (hosting, payments, analytics) - Regulators or law enforcement as required by law
Retention
Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Platform and comply with legal obligations. Account data is retained for a maximum of 5 years after account closure, unless otherwise required by law.
User Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to: - Access your personal data - Correct inaccurate data - Request erasure - Restrict processing - Object to processing - Request data portability - Lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Privacy Policy are governed by Czech law. The courts of the Czech Republic, with Prague as the place of performance, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
